It’s that time of the year again… when Jeff Goodman gets ultra excited to make his College Basketball Transfer List and like last year Georgia will be looking for Graduate Transfer to add to the frontcourt.  Graduate transfer speculation is a tricky business that’s for sure, especially with student-athletes that have not been cleared nor even made any public inclination to transfer.  Graduate transfers have been become a hot commodity as one year rental student-athletes that can make an immediate impact on their graduate institutions.

Speculative Graduate Transfer Candidates

These guys have yet to declare in any fashion that they are transferring to a new institution, but are candidates based on coaching changes and lack of team success.  This list is comprised of post players ONLY.

  • Willy Kouassi – Former Auburn Tiger now at Kennesaw State.  KSU fired their coach yesterday.
  • Markus Kennedy – SMU.  SMU has an NCAA investigation and possible sanctions.
  • Cameron Ridley – Texas.  A possible Rick Barnes dismissal may lead Ridley to exit.
  • Julian Royal – George Mason.  Julian Royal followed the now fired Paul Hewitt to Fairfax.
  • Max Bielfeldt – Michigan.  Rumors are that he’s not happy in Ann Arbor.
  • Greg Lewis – Rutgers.  He was considering UGA in HS, may want to finish with a bang.
  • Eric Jacobsen – Arizona State.  Herb Sendek was fired.  Immediate eligibility unknown.
