Rayshaun Hammonds is one UGA’s top targets and he’s coming back to Athens.
Rayshaun Hammonds was supposed to visit the University of Connecticut this weekend for an official visit, but he had a sudden change of plans. It is not an unusual move for Hammonds to cancel an official visit, he cancelled his visit to Alabama a few weeks ago. What is intriguing is that Hammonds chose to visit UGA instead of choosing not to even make a visit.
Rayshaun Hammonds is coming into Athens for the last weekend prior to National Signing Week. This would mark Hammonds’ second trip to Athens this Fall. Hammonds made an unofficial visit in October during the Tennessee Football weekend. The panic that Hammonds was not making any official visits to Athens should likely have died off by now considering that this will be Visit #2 in just over one month.
Four-star forward Rayshaun Hammonds will visit Georgia this weekend.

Could this end up being like the Luka Garza commitment to Iowa? Garza cancelled his official visit to UGA and then immediately made an unofficial visit to Iowa to commit to Fran McCaffrey. Could this be a case of Hammonds doing the same, but with Georgia this time getting the commitment?
Recruiting season. It’s pretty wild. The projection has been changed, it is now Rayshaun Hammonds to Georgia.
